The primary purpose of a summer literacy and numeracy camp is to reinforce and enhance literacy and numeracy skills, particularly for students who may have fallen behind in reading and math during the school year. During the camp we aim to prevent summer learning loss ("the summer slide") and help students enter the next school year prepared and confident in their literacy and numeracy abilities.
